On October 27-29, 2020 the main event of the laboratory industry of Ukraine the XIII International Exhibition LABComplEX will be held at the ACCO International Exhibition Center.
The exhibition will present the whole range of equipment and technologies for laboratories, specialized furniture, consumables, as well as a range of services for the creation, equipping, modernization of laboratories in various industries and scientific-research.
A training seminar for representatives of the fisheries and aquaculture sector has been held. The training was initiated by experts from the FAO Fisheries Department in Rome (Italy). Irina Mirochnik, the president of IMMER Group, was invited as an expert on minimizing food loss.
Specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the State Ecological Academy, the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management, and the Kyiv National Trade and Economic University were trained on new methods for assessing food loss and food waste in the fisheries and aquaculture sector.

A leading manufacturer of flexible packaging materials has marked its 90th anniversary. On June 29, 1927, an enterprise for the production of packaging was established in Kyiv.

The jury evaluated packaging samples from more than 200 leading manufacturers from around the world. Experts judged the quality of the material, design, and the originality of performance of the submitted samples and identified the best. Packaging samples for Bon Chance by TM Svitoch and Ceresit construction mixture by TM Henkel have been chosen as the winners in the category Food and Other.
