From 25 to 27 September 2019 in the EC “ACCOInternational” will be held XII International Exhibition LABComplEX – the main event of laboratory industry in Ukraine.
Within the framework of the event will be presented the whole range of equipment, technologies for laboratories and specialized furniture, supplies as well as range of services for creation, equipping, modernization of all types and kinds of laboratories of various industries, scientific-research field and medicine.
On November 2, 2012, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ukrainian Chemists Union and The State Organization "Kyiv City Center for Investment and Development".
The document was signed by the President of UCU Mr. O.Golubov and the Center’s Director Mr. D.Borisov.
The aim of cooperation - mutual support in achieving the statutory objectives of organizations: implementation of national investment programs in the social and economic development of the city of Kiev and innovative development of the chemical industry of Ukraine.
Chemical industry sector is an important part of Ukrainian economy. It includes about 50 big enterprises plus more than 6500 medium-size and smaller companies. They employ near 155 thousand people and produce more than 6000 names of chemical products.
Foreign trade turnover of Ukrainian chemical sector has reached 14.4 billion US dollars in 2011. Export of chemicals from Ukraine last year was near 10% of whole countries export and share of the chemical industry in GDP is about 6%.
Ukrainian Chemists Union (UCU) was officially accepted to The European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic).
Ukrainian Chemists Union’s delegation at the Assembly meeting was headed by the UCU President Mr. Oleksiy Golubov.
Following the London, UCU fined itself fully engaged in a process of planning mutual beneficial cooperation in the framework of the Cefic’s key programs.
The Union’s Supervising Board is expected to take appropriate decisions at the next meetings.
On 5-7 July 2012 delegation of The European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) with the Cefic’s Director General Dr. Hubert Mandery at the head visited Ukraine.
High-ranking European chemical industry delegation arrived in Kyiv by invitation of The Ukrainian Chemists Union (UCU) to discuss perspective ways of cooperation between Ukrainian and European chemical industry enterprises.
The key point of the talks was the possible joining of the UCU to Cefic.
